The Monument to the Victims of the Soviet Occupation ((ルーマニア語、モルドバ語():Monument în memoria victimelor ocupaţiei sovietice)) is a proposed monument in Chişinău, Moldova. A commemorative stone was unveiled on 28 June 2010, as a monument to the victims of the Soviet occupation and the totalitarian communist regime, Soviet Occupation Day in Moldova.〔(June 28 Moldova would seek the withdrawal of Russian occupiers )〕 It is located on Grand National Assembly Square, formerly known as Victory Square, once home to the central monument to Lenin of Soviet Moldavia, in front of Government House, originally the seat of the Council of Ministers of the Moldavian SSR, now the Cabinet of Moldova.〔(Commemorative stone of monument to victims of Soviet occupation unveiled in Chisinau )〕〔(Primăria a instalat în faţa Guvernului o piatră în memoria victimelor regimului comunist )〕 In English, the inscription on the stone reads: ==Gallery==
